In May 2019, the British Museum will host the largest exhibition dedicated to manga ever held outside Japan. Immersive and playful, the exhibition will explore manga’s global appeal and cultural crossover.
Manga is a visual narrative art form telling stories from gender to adventure, in real or imagined worlds. The marketing campaign had to reflect on the wide variety of the subjects and appeal to a non-traditional British Museum audience. With a minimal and bold design, this bespoke display part of the Manga campaign celebrates the wide variety of genre and style in Manga stories.
